Sasha was born In a small village of Ivanik Located near Pinsk/Belarus.
It was a jewish agricultural settlement that was founded In 1855,
at Those days belonged to Poland.
He was the second-born son In a family of 8 children.
His mother and five of his brothers died during the Holocaust.
During WW2, Sasha came to Tashkent/Uzbekistan, where he
met Tanya Shurp, Medical Student and married her in October 5, 1945.
In the beginning of 1946 they moved to poland. In 1947 they came to France,
to A port near Marseilles, where in April 14, 1947,

, they tried to sail to Israel
as illegal immigrants, along with 2,641 more refugees on the deck. The ship was intercepted
by the British (Isreal was under British Mandate) and held in camps in Cyprus.
After one year they came to Israel and lived in Jaffa.
Sasha reunion with his two sisters (Fruma & Shifra), that came to Israel, was
in the late 50's.
Sasha worked most of his life as a typesetter and some years as an Account Manager.
Sasha was a family person. His main hobby was to solve crossword puzzles.
In his last days he was lucky to enjoy two of his grandchildren (Elad & Dikla).
In August 1982 he was diagnosed with colon cancer and died after four months.
Sasha was buried In Holon cemetery. Later (1997), he was joined by his wife.
Sasha left two sons: Micky, Danny and six grandchildren (four were born after he passed away): Elad, Dikla, Shay Golan, Yuval,
Amir, Noa Goldman.
