SINGAPORE

Thursday 1st February

This was our first stop.

We found it very hot and humid.

We stayed at the Copthorne Orchid which is a vey nice hotel just outside the centre.

It's a very busy city but green as every where you go there are plants and trees.

We visited the island of Sentosa where we saw the musical fountains and rode on the scary cable car
Here we saw the under water world.With glass tunnels and sharks.


Here I am outside Raffles Hotel.
We had Singapore slings and ate peanuts in the Long room bar. The floor was covered
in their shells.
The next time we visited we had just been caught in a very heavy down poor. But we soon dried out once we were having high tea in the billiard room. It worked out quite good value because you could heve as many cups of tea or coffee as you wanted and eat as much as you want.


This is on the balcony outside the long room bar. We are with Theadora from Melbourne. She was on her way to stay with relatives in Greece. We spent a few days with her. We didnt get an address from her so we may never see her again.
