Broken Hill

Tuesday 27th February We drove out from Broken hill to Silverton. This is a famous pub and has featured in some films. We all took the Silverton test and passed! |

Were at White cliffs now and on the golf course. The greens certainly are not. White cliffs is famous for Opal mining. |

In this picture we can be seen fossiking. That is looking in the rubble for Opals. |

We are on our way back to Broken Hill. We drove for miles and miles on these red dirt roads. We had air conditioning in the car but outside it was over 40 degrees centigrade and the ground was very hot to touch. We stopped here to have a look round and feel the heat. |
