Wed 14 February

Flew into Alice springs and stayed at the Ridges Plaza near to the casino.
Very hot here at 36 degrees centigrade.
Visited the desert park. Here they had different desert habitats. They had a nocturnal house with some strange timid creatures in it.
Saw a wedge tailed eagle cracking open an egg with a stone.
Ate Kangaroo at the outback steak house and Rachel had her jeans branded on her arse while she was wearing them

Caught bus to Yulara

Friday 16th February

Caught bus to Uluru and stayed at the outback pioneer hostel in Yulara. In a very small room with a loud air conditioner.

Saturday 17th February

Saw sunrise from the back of a camel and saw sunset over the rock with hundreds of other people.
