Oracle Delphi Mk I

After the Technics, I saw an Oracle Delphi Mk I at a dealer's place, so I asked him to set it up for me. It came with an SME arm, and we mounted the Clearaudio Alpha on it.

I did have problems with the suspension balance though and later on found out that the springs are pretty much battered. I ordered an Oracle Maintenance Kit from Hi-Fi Farm and upgraded the Oracle using the parts from the kit.

I was so excited when an opportunity came to me for an Eminent Technologies ET 2.5 arm. It was sold to me for P20,000 and I bought it. Having lusted for a linear tracking arm since I was a kid, this was a dream come true.

I learned the ins and outs of the arm, corresponded with Bruce Thigpen, and sooner mounted the ET 2.5 on the Oracle.

When I rearranged the orientation of my gears, I decided to wall-mount the Oracle. I bought braces from a local Ace Hardware and used a ply of wood which I salvaged from our office garbage.

The madness continues.. I was offered a Clearaudio Sigma by a friend, said he didn't like it. Well, the offer is very afforable to I took it, excited about the opportunity of tasting high-end MC cart for the first time.
