This version of AmigaNG web site is out of date, currently working on an update, www.amigang.com due to the fact that Google links this page as the top ranked page for AmigaOS4.2 info I decided to do a small update for this part of the site so that people at lest have an idea of what to expect and where to find more up to date information. Update: AmigaOS4.2 main new feature will be much improved new graphics software Gallium3D and improved OpenGl performance and support. Along with this it should also finally have full USB2.0 support and various other improved performances and fixs. Its other key goal is to support AmigaONE X1000 hardware and possibly Xmos support. It will also be a much bigger jump than OS4.0 mainly because of the introduction of the Amiga DE. This will give all A1 owners a huge amount of new software though the device that has been designed for the DE and software made for JAVA.
